Seromik, Kathleen A.

Kathleen A. Seromik, 89, of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born August 10, 1929, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of George and Carrie (Nusbaum) Komorowski. A graduate from Central Catholic High School in Toledo, OH, she married Andrew R. Seromik on April 29, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1990. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, where she was active in the Christian Mother’s and Rosary Guild. Kathleen was also a member of the Bedford Senior Center and Bedford Band Boosters.
She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl (Jack) Loveland, Ronald (Diana) Seromik, Deborah Andra, Christine (Robert) Sager, Jeffrey (Laura) Seromik and Timothy Seromik; brother, George (Rosemary) Komorowski, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and special great grandson, Connor Andra. She was also preceded in death by 6 sisters, Helen, Mary and Gertrude Sadoski, Teresa VanHove, Julie Rochowiak and Lucy McDonald; 4 brothers, Fr. Louis Komorowski, O.S.F.S., Karl, Steve and Lawrence Komorowski.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, January 17, 2019, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4605 St. Anthony Road, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
